I love the incredible wood frame housing that Seattle is known for. Some of it dating back to the early 1900`s. I have a particular fondness for the wonderful 1950's brick "mid-century modern" architecture that abounds in some Seattle neighborhoods as well as the current Eco-modern homes coming on the market. I enjoy fixing-up and preserving beautiful older homes and regularly work with buyers who want to try their hand at a "This Old House" project. I am a big believer in adaptive reuse (think Rome) with older buildings being adapted to fit modern needs. I have a great short list of contractors and handymen to call on when needed.
